Our Story

On Us evolved from a vision to bring together our most precious resource inside a sustainable alternative to the plastic bottles. Naturally filtered through our sandstone aquifer flowing one hundred feet beneath the historical L.N. Gross Co building we call home, our water delivers a unique sensory experience through natural minerality. Our source of hydration next takes shape in an infinitely recyclable aluminum vessel. It’s On Us to provide the world with mindful hydration. Mindful of the impact plastic bottles are taking on our environment. Mindful of our body’s need for natural minerals & hydration, rather than an engineered alternative. 

Built in 1928, our home, The L.N. Gross Co Building, is recognized by the National Park Society as a national historic landmark. Once a neglected afterthought in the Kent landscape, the L.N. Gross Co. building has been given new life through the vision, design and redevelopment of the Cene family. Building an entirely new structure undoubtedly would have been the path of least resistance. When you also consider the amplified complexity and engineering involved in the process equipment & necessary systems for beverage production, the cornerstone of our brand is an absolute masterpiece. A monument to resurrecting a national landmark – the truest form of recycling, The L.N. Gross Co building is a testament to finding value in something others have discarded.
